SHOW OVERVIEW

Prepare to look closer—much closer! The 2027 Spring Ice Show: Magnify the World takes audiences on an awe-inspiring journey through nature’s hidden marvels by shrinking your perspective so the smallest creatures take center stage on the big ice. As the rink transforms into a massive, vibrant lens, our skaters bring micro-worlds to life—from bioluminescent fireflies glowing under dark arena lights and fluttering silk-winged butterflies to hard-working lines of precision ants and cheerful ladybugs. Sweeping gracefully between lush blooming flowers, exotic birds, gliding schools of fish, and sleek sharks, this theatrical spectacle combines high-flying athleticism, dazzling blacklight effects, and larger-than-life costuming to prove that when you zoom in, even the smallest life on Earth has a giant story to tell.

MAGIC ON ICE SPRING 2027

about magic on ice

For our skaters, Magic on Ice is about so much more than performing. It’s an opportunity to learn the art of show skating, build confidence, work together as a team, and create the kind of memories that last long after the final bow—from practice-ice fun and backstage giggles to getting ready together before the big show. With group numbers organized by skating level, every skater can experience the excitement of performing alongside others at a similar skill level.

MAGIC ON ICE (M.O.I) SKATER & PARENT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT:

Welcome to the Magic On Ice (M.O.I.) show! Being part of a figure skating production is an exciting opportunity, but it requires dedication, teamwork, and responsibility. Please read the following agreement carefully before signing.

    1. Attendance & Rehearsal Commitment

    • Absence Limit: Skaters are allowed a maximum of three (3) absences from scheduled rehearsals.

    • Approval Requirement: Any absence beyond or outside of unavoidable emergencies must be submitted and approved in writing by the Show Director prior to the missed practice.

    • Removal Policy: If a skater exceeds 3 unapproved absences, they will be removed from their group numbers and will no longer be permitted to participate in the M.O.I. show.

    • No Refund Policy: In the event a skater is removed from the show due to attendance violations, no registration fees or show-related expenses will be refunded.

    2. Costume & Appearance Policy

    • Official Costumes: Skaters are required to wear the official costume selected by the M.O.I. creative team for their specific group or routine.

    • No Alterations: No alterations, modifications, hem changes, or adjustments may be made to any costume without prior written consent from the Costume Coordinator or Show Director.

    • Skaters and parents agree to treat coaches, fellow skaters, rink staff, and volunteers with respect at all times.

    • Positive sportsmanship and encouragement are required on and off the ice to ensure a fun, supportive environment for all cast members.

    4. Photo & Media Release

    • Consent: By signing this agreement, the skater and parent/guardian grant Magic On Ice (M.O.I.), its organizers, and affiliated entities permission to capture photographs, audio, and video recordings of the skater during practices, rehearsals, and show performances.

    • Ownership: All photos, video recordings, and digital media taken by official M.O.I. personnel remain the property of the production organization.
